On the disease of pacifism and ideology.(平和主義、イデオロギーという病について。)

日本語版:「戯言。」

"Japan should act as a mediator in the world as a representative of a pacifist country." someone says.
In a word, I think "IT'S JUST THE OPPOSITE CHILD'S OPINION." and (I'm sorry.).

An authority of the Japanese Imperial family with a history of 1000 years.
the tragic experience of being the only country to have suffered atomic bombings, rich culture...
Japan certainly has its strengths.
But how meaningful is that in a world where the weak are the strong?

As the old saying goes, "There are no true friends in the state."
Politics (politician) is a job that cannot be (If you're not a person who can use deception and lies well,) without lying.

Talks, language and pacifism are not panaceas.

For example, it is important to deepen understanding of Islamic culture by saying, "they are such a culture".
But think about it.
Even close people can't really understand each other.
>"complete mutual understanding" is sad but an illusion. It's a dream.
No one can (We can make an effort,) for the rest of their lives.
The folly of not being able to do that is human nature. Don't look away from that.

"understand that you can't understand each other" is "mutual understanding" as a fact.

The mindset of "Let's reduce the grief of war." is certainly important, but
In all ages and countries, the one that kills people the most is "justice".
For example, the Pol Pot massacre and Mao Zedong's Cultural Revolution, which we now see as barbaric, were justice for them.

Even now, (As mentioned at the beginning) and (ideology and propaganda) make people drunk and distort the world.
Like drug addiction or alcohol addiction.

I don't charge them to check their mistake.
But every time I see someone intoxicated with flimsy justice, my mind is always buzzing and waving.
Is this the work of earthly desires?
As a believer in the Jodo Shinshu sect,
I think I'm leading a modest life.

What is necessary is to try every day to understand the folly of human beings even though they don't understand it, and to spread the compassion of Amida to the world.
I think so now.

A mere mental understanding of theory does not bring about true peace.
What you really need is a warm heart and attitude.
And to nurture it,
forgiving,
There's discipline.
There is room.
Realization of such an affluent society.
That's all.

Namu Amidabutsu...
