Sometimes you fall out with friends and feel like you don’t belong. Or thinking about the future just feels like too much. That’s when people start doing things that look a bit weird. Saying random stuff out of nowhere, or getting hooked on odd things. That’s what people call “odd behavior.”
“Youth isn’t coming back.”
“If only I had tried harder in club.”
“I’m already behind in school or work.”
—Thoughts like that only make it heavier,
’cause the past really doesn’t rewind.
Even if someone tells you, “It’s not too late,” you might think, “Yeah, right. I’ll never hit my ideal anyway.” Or, “It’ll just be for my own satisfaction.”
But honestly, what’s so wrong with self-satisfaction?
Winning a game, drawing something that looks kinda good,
or even making instant noodles just right—
those little “Yes!” moments can totally carry a day.
We probably live off them more than we notice.
Weird moves, self-satisfaction, messing up— they’re all kinda lame, but they’re also human. And from there, the only way is forward.
So here I am again, writing it down. Not because it’s amazing, but because this is just my way of walking.
