What the Refrigerator Cucumber Taught Me

There was a cucumber in the fridge that had lost its freshness, and it didn’t taste very good when eaten raw. Out of desperation, I stir-fried it with cabbage, sausage, and garlic soy sauce.

Surprisingly, I finished it rather easily. It wasn’t exactly delicious, but the fact that it became edible when cooked was unexpected.

Perhaps avoiding food just because of prejudice isn’t such a good idea. I ate it with gratitude 🙏
